I am currently waiting for my next library book on the Libby App to be available, so I decided to read a short book to keep me going. This one, whilst short, was an excellent choice. I loved the 1920s setting, the main character and the twist at the end. I haven’t read a book set in the 1920s before and it didn’t disappoint. The descriptions of 1920s London and the parties that were attended were all well written and took me into that world. This book is part of a series so I will definitely be looking into the other books.
