📖PLOT SUMMARY📖
Set in a quiet town where everybody knows one another, a young, single woman who owns a bookshop and mainly reads romance novels, wonders if she will ever find a man just like the ones she reads about. Her bookshop is her life and her books are her family. One day a handsome stranger comes to town and seems to be like someone from one of her romance novels, but is it too good to be true?
💭THOUGHTS💭
After searching through the library app on my phone I came across this book. It was also on my Goodreads ‘want to read’ list and, as a romance novel, it ticked off that genre goal for the month. As I have mentioned before, I have to be in the mood for romance novels, but this one seemed to be really sweet with its small town setting and close knit community feel. I have also been looking to read stories about bookshops and this one fitted the bill perfectly.
It was really well written and had everything you could wish for in a romance novel, emotion, love, friendship and laughter all in a beautiful setting. The characters were good fun and I was hooked from the beginning. I could really imagine myself in the bookshop. It was a light, feel good, cosy book that I would quite happily read again.
