📖PLOT SUMMARY📖

The story is written from the view of Maxwell who joins a secret agency that jumps through time to observe and record history as it happens. Things are never straight forward and the book is certainly aptly named.

💭THOUGHTS💭

This book was recommended in one of my Facebook groups, and as it came under sci fi I thought that I would give it a try. I haven’t read anything like this before so I approached it with an open mind. The ideas behind the book were interesting.

Overall I am glad that I read this book. There was a lot of interesting and thought provoking things going on and the way that it was written had me hooked. 

There were however, a lot of characters to keep up with and a lot of details to remember, which meant that I did get lost at times. There was a handy character list at the beginning, but it was difficult to keep flipping back and forth. Another thing which put me off slightly was the amount of death and injury. The amount of it made it hard to carry on reading at some points and it also added extra things to remember. 

Despite all that, I kept on reading, desperate to know what was going to happen next and if there would be a ‘happy’ ending. As a consequence I am in two minds as to whether I will read the other books in the series.
