📖PLOT SUMMARY📖
The second book in the series, it carries on from where the first one left off, in the Spring Court. Feyre learns that she could be much more than what she is currently allowed to be and situations and circumstances occur where she is able to find out what she can really do and where her heart truly lies.
💭THOUGHTS💭
I borrowed the first book in the series (A Court of Thorns and Roses) a while ago from a friend and really enjoyed it. I have since seen posts on social media about how good Sarah J Maas books are, so I decided to have a look on the library app and I found the rest of the series.
All I can say is that it didn’t disappoint. I couldn’t put it down! It was full of drama, emotion and generally gripped me from the beginning.
The only negative thing that I would say is that it took me a while to remember who was who and what happened in the previous book as it has been a while since I had read it. Once I remembered roughly what happened in the first book I was fine.
The whole premise of this book was unexpected, which I enjoyed. I had no idea what was going to happen from one minute to the next!
The descriptions of the characters and the places were well written and really dragged you in to their lives.
Overall it was an excellent read and I’m looking forward to reading the next one in the series.
