Pandemic Reading List 2020 – Poor Unfortunate Soul by Serena Valentino

This was bought for me as a present, but you can get the set of four from Amazon at a reasonable price.

This is the third book in the Disney Villain series and again I thought it was a good take on the sea witch from the Disney film The Little Mermaid. Whilst I enjoyed the book there was nothing wow about it. As with the previous one (The Beast Within) the story was really only worthy of a 3 star rating. The three sisters from the first book made their appearance again linking all three books together and adding an extra element to the story.

As with the first two books this story seamlessly blends into the Disney film that we know and love.

There isn’t much more to add as we are all familiar with the characters and the settings. There are a few little extras that give the story a different twist to it and whilst it wasn’t my favourite ever read I don’t regret reading it.

Rated 3/5
