Pandemic Reading List 2020 – Fairest of All by Serena Valentino

Iceland and Fairest of All
Iceland and Fairest of All

This was bought for me as a present, but you can get the set of four from Amazon at a reasonable price.

This was the fourth and last book in the Disney Villain series. It was an interesting take on the evil stepmother in Snow White and, without giving anything away, it actually made me feel for her. This was the only book where I felt sorry for the villain throughout.

Like the others in the series, it was well written and I liked the take on the characters, but there was just something missing.

The three sisters made their obligatory appearance in this book in a clever way, linking this book to the other three.

Overall I preferred the other books in the series to this one.

Whilst the books came as a series and the three sisters linked the books together, I found reading them more or less one after the other a bit much. They were all just average for me, with the exception of the first one which was slightly above average and therefore got the highest rating of them all.

If you are a Disney fan they are worth a read, but they are nothing extraordinary.

Rated 3/5
