After enjoying The Hunting Party, I couldn’t wait to see what this book had to offer. It was written in the same clever style, where not only did the reader not know who the murderer was, but they also didn’t know who was murdered! I loved this unique style of writing and couldn’t put the book down!
The characters all had their own suspicious back stories that were gradually unfolding throughout the story. It kept me guessing as to who could have been murdered and who was the murderer right until the end, where the stories all neatly came together. All of the characters were a potential candidate for both being murdered and being the murderer!
I also loved the setting of an isolated island with a storm brewing. It really added to the spooky atmosphere and made you as the reader even more on edge! I can’t wait for the next book!
