Pandemic Reading List 2021 – Love Your Life by Sophie Kinsella

Available at the library

When I saw that there was a new Sophie Kinsella book out I was very excited. I had some birthday money left so I decided to splash out and get a signed copy! I have started a small collection of signed books (small because I really don’t have the space for more books!) and was excited to add this to the collection!

This book had it all; love, laughter, cute characters and beautiful settings. It was a light enjoyable read with some amusing bits. I love the writing style of Sophie Kinsella’s books. They aren’t complicated to read and you can really identify with some of the situations that the characters find themselves in!

The Italian writing retreat was a beautiful setting and you could really imagine yourself there. I also liked the descriptions of the characters homes. They enhanced the traits of the characters and really highlighted their differences.

What I also enjoyed was that the main character was so positive and it was nice to see how she evolved throughout the book with the help of other characters and how she in turn helped others to see things differently.
