As you know my blog is about budget tales, those books that are available from the Library or are free/cheap on Kindle. I have mixed things up a bit by doing two Blog Tours (with another two in the pipeline!) just for a bit of fun for myself.
To focus my reading, instead of setting myself ‘number of books to read’ goals, I set myself genre goals. This gives me a certain amount of flexibility, whilst at the same time allowing me to broaden my reading. As a result of this I am gradually accumulating a list of books from different genres and I thought it would be fun to every so often do a “If I had to recommend one book” post.
So for my very first ‘if I had to recommend one book’ post, I have decided to start off with Fantasy:
If I had to recommend one Fantasy book that I have read this year it would be:

A Court Of Thorns And Roses by Sarah J Maas
With the rest of the series to follow!
NOTE: I first read this book in 2020, but read the rest of the series this year!

“book”, “read”, “book review”, “book blog”, “popular”, “recommended”, “easy read”, “don’t miss out”, “fiction”, “reading slump”, “entertaining”, “what should I read next”
I just brought a copy of A Court of Thorns and Roses and I am looking forward to reading it!

It is so good! I was hooked 🤣 I hadn’t read Fantasy for ages then my friend lent me this book (I actually bought it for her as a bday present). It made me remember how much I liked Fantasy 😂
