As my blog is about budget tales I focus mainly on reading and reviewing Library books and cheap/free Kindle books. Now that my blog is 6 months old and I have a decent amount of reading behind me, I would like to showcase my 5 star reads from the Library so far this year:
Twenties Girl by Sophie Kinsella⭐Rated 5/5⭐ CHICK LIT

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune ⭐Rated 5/5⭐FANTASY

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas ⭐Rated 5/5⭐FANTASY

A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J Maas ⭐Rated 5/5⭐FANTASY

A Court of Silver Flames by Sarah J Maas ⭐Rated 5/5⭐FANTASY

Ace of Spades by Faridah Àbíké-Íyímídé ⭐Rated 5/5⭐ THRILLER

Dial A for Aunties by Jesse Sutanto⭐Rated 5/5⭐ CONTEMPORARY HUMOUR

As you can see I have read some big titles this year (and yes I did have many weeks to wait on some of the Sarah J Maas books, but they were worth it!). I highly recommend that you visit the Library either in person (if it is safe enough) or via the Libby app (which I am currently doing) in order to keep our Libraries going.

I love visiting my library and am so lucky that it is just a couple of minutes walk away. I only get actual books though as haven’t managed to work out how the electronic system works yet.

I’m an 11 min walk away so fairly close if you are rushing to get a book that has finally arrived! I only started electronically due to the pandemic otherwise I would have never even thought about it! I love having a library on my phone! The only thing I would say is that it doesn’t have every single book available on it so sometimes it would still be better to get the physical book. It actually wasn’t as hard as I thought it would be to download. Setting up this blog was definitely harder and I need my partner to help me out with it sometimes!

I’ve heard of that 🤔 my library card (that is linked to the Libby app) expired back in March apparently and it’s only now that it went wrong. The library was excellent though and got it sorted out 😊
