If I had to recommend one Thriller…

To focus my reading, instead of setting myself ‘number of books to read’ goals, I set myself genre goals. This gives me a certain amount of flexibility, whilst at the same time allowing me to broaden my reading. As a result of this I am gradually accumulating a list of books from different genres and I thought it would be fun to every so often do a “If I had to recommend one book” post.

If I had to recommend one Thriller that I have read this year it would be:

Origin by Dan Brown (click here for my review)

This was a very hard choice as I have read a couple of Dan Brown books this year and of course Fifty Fifty by Steve Cavanagh. I had to therefore just go with my gut and say that actually if push came to shove I would choose Origin.

Dan Brown is one of my favourite authors. His style of writing immediately sucks me in and I love the fact that I learn something new from reading his books.
