Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week’s Top 10 is 2021 Releases I Was Excited to Read But Didn’t Get To. This was a tough one for me as I get excited about many books, but they may not necessarily have been published in 2021! Anyway, after a bit of publication date research here is my list (click the titles for their link to Goodreads):

The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman (I got this for Christmas)

The Devil’s Advocate by Steve Cavanagh (I got this for Christmas)

The Dark Remains by Ian Rankin (I got this for Christmas)

Finlay Donovan is Killing It by Elle Cosimano (on my to read list – not yet purchased)

The Ex Hex by Erin Sterling (on my to read list – not yet purchased)

Window Shopping by Tessa Bailey(on my to read list – not yet purchased)

On A Night Like This by Lindsey Kelk (on my to read list – not yet purchased)

I’ve since added Finlay Donovan to my TBR after seeing so little hype for it during the year, but so much hype in end of year wrap-up lists!

I have The Ex Hex on my TBR as well. I tried reading Finlay Donovan is Killing It twice, and I only made it about halfway in the end. I just didn’t like it as much as I had hoped.

I saw it everywhere over Halloween and really wanted to give it a go. I just never got the time.
That’s interesting. Sometimes books aren’t what we hoped. I will go in with no expectations – whenever I get the chance to read it!

I had a lot of these on my 2021 TBR too! I did read The Ex Hex though, and enjoyed it–I hope you do when you get to it, too!

It looks good and it was everywhere over Halloween 🙂 I just need to find the time…

Yes! That is exactly when and why I read it. There’s nothing wrong with saving the time for next Halloween, haha!

I will have to blank out a space in my calendar!! I’m already being booked for blog tours in March!!

Ha! Definitely blank a space when you’re so in demand!

The problem is that I get these emails asking if I want to be on the tour and I can’t resist! I’ve read some really great books that I wouldn’t normally have picked and so I think what if I miss out on a great book 🤣

It is. I am going to try and not book any more until April, unless it sounds really good!
