Welcome to Top 5 Wednesday! Hosted by Goodreads T5W group this week it is books with kind characters. This is something that I don’t often think about when reading a book and actually when trying to find some kind characters it was quite difficult! Maybe that says a lot about the books that I read! However, here is my list of kind characters (click on the title for my book review):
Joyce from The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman. She was a lovely character who brought humour and lightness to the book.
Nanee from The Postmistress of Paris by Meg Waite Clayton selflessly stayed in occupied France and helped people to escape persecution.
Cherie the owner of the cafe in Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe by Debbie Johnson, opened her cafe to help people and always has their favourite foods in stock.
Arthur Parnassus from The House in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune looks after children who would otherwise be ostracised for who/what they are.
Verity Bloom from Comfort and Joy by Cathy Bramley opened up her cookery school and brought everyone together when there was a flood in the village over Christmas.
Who would be on your list of kind characters?
