Book Description From Goodreads:

They haven’t spoken for 12 years.

Can they fall in love in 12 days?

Lizzy Munro is working at the Cannes Film Festival, in a job that involves a lot more admin than red-carpet glamour.

There, Ciaran Flynn is the man everyone is talking about: heartthrob of the moment and director of the most romantic movie of the year.

What nobody knows is that twelve years ago, they were best friends . . . and they haven’t spoken since.

But when Ciaran’s film runs into trouble, there’s only one person he can turn to.

Is twelve days enough to save not only Ciaran’s film, but also the spark he and Lizzy once shared?

What else has been happening this week:

It was Bank Holiday Monday this week so it was nice to have that extra family day (which we spent wandering round a vineyard that had a wood carpeted in Bluebells!). The later half of the week we went out for a cake and a drink and then ended the week on a trip to Sissinghurst Castle and a high tea at Bloomsburys in Biddenden!

Here are a couple of pictures:

Doesn’t Twelve Days in May sound like fun?! I’m glad to hear that you liked it so much. I will look for it.

Finlay Donovan Is Killing It is part of a series that I’ve been hearing a lot about. It sounds promising, too.

Wow! I love those photos of Bluebell Woods.

Twelve Days is good so far (I am just over half way through). My review is due on 13 May.

Yes, I would describe Finlay Donovan as a chick lit, murder mystery. Its good and once I finish it the second one will be on my wish list!

Thank you. It was amazing, bluebells into the distance!

I love the tiered cake servers that often show up during a high tea. They really create a feeling of old-time luxury.
