Wednesday Night Reading

Happy Hump Day! It’s been a fairly hot and muggy day today (by UK standards) so I’ve not been best pleased, however it hasn’t been hot enough for me to not have a hot chocolate so that has cheered me up!

In terms of my reading I started off with Book Lovers by Emily Henry and have now reached page 100. I am still hopeful that it will get better and engage me more. It’s not a terrible book by any means, just that I am not instantly hooked.

I then moved on to Melmoth by Sarah Perry. Same with this one in that I’m not instantly hooked, but have high hopes that this will change as I get more into it. The style of writing confuses me, but I am enjoying the content.

I finished off the evening with my Blog Tour Book Monty and the Monster by Rhonda Smiley. I am enjoying this one. I have finally reached the half way point and am hopeful that I will get it done in the next few days.

I hope you all have a great Wednesday. Tomorrow is Time Travel Thursday and Thursday Quoteables!
