      I was taken in by the cover and the title!

      I saw that. They looked cute. I have been trying to find books to read about Paris – fictional ones – so that I can join in your Paris read. I am not sure how much time I will have though as I have 4 Blog Tours this month and a couple next month.

      Excellent!! I did have to do some research as I could only think of 3 off the top of my head. Have you not read any Richard Osman?! You will either love him or hate him. I hope to get through most of them as I will try to cut down on Blog Tours – I just get sucked into them though!!!

      Yes she did. I just missed out on the Blog Tour for this book and I was gutted.

      I enjoyed the first one so am looking forward to the second!

    I have an ARC of To Get To The Other Side and I’ve managed to read until 40% of the book before I put it down. The file is in PDF format which isn’t a convenient format to read on a Kindle. Hopefully, I find the motivation to continue it as it nears the publication date.

    Hope you’ll enjoy these – I nearly included the Cavanagh book on my list too. Sorry, but I’m not a Richard Osman fan, so although I’ve read his first two books I won’t be reading any more.

      Noooo I love his books. I preordered the third one before he had finished writing it 🙂 He seems to be an you either like it or you don’t author.

    I read Richard Osman’s first book because I just love Richard Osman. I’ll be reading the second one, as well, I’m sure.

        Crime novels aren’t usually my cup of tea but his writing is just as great as the guy itself, so I will read his next books once they’re out in paperback.

        I love a crime novel so I had high hopes and wasn’t disappointed. He always comes across as nice.

        I asked for them for Christmas 🙂

        I’m glad that you liked it. As I said, I don’t usually like crime novels, only read this because of the author and liked it anyway. And it’s not the money, I have figromyalgia and can’t hold heavy books even though I love chunky ones. And don’t get me started on audiobooks or e-readers … 😀

        With a toddler in the house, you have to be applauded for reading no matter how. So, no excuse necessary. When my kids were toddlers, there was no other way to read than with an actual book (though audio tapes existed). I still admire you for being able to read on a phone. Must be very hard.

        And thinking along those lines I really wanted to read The Cursed Child but it was written as a play. I decided to give it a go anyway and it wasn’t long before I was just reading it as I would any other book.

        Oh, I never knew it was a play. I only read the very first Harry Potter books when my children were reading it. But then hubby took over accompanying them on that journey.

        In London. I’m not sure if it is still running. I wanted to see the play, but it was too expensive and also booked up way in advance.

        That is always a problem, far too expensive for many. I had heard there was a play in London but I didn’t know the book was written as a play.
