What else has been happening this week:

The week started off as it usually does with my son going to the Children’s Centre. Tuesday was the usual trip to the library then on Wednesday he had his second stay and play for an hour at school. During this hour his dad and I went to a presentation hosted by the Early Years Teacher and the Head Teacher, and collected his uniform (I also sampled some of the catering – a lovely piece of flapjack!). I still can’t believe that he is going to school this year!

After this it went downhill. My son started coughing and had a runny nose earlier on in the week and on Wednesday I also started. I have then been ill with temperatures etc for the rest of the week. We have therefore missed a trip to the zoo and a family BBQ. Fingers crossed that I will be better next week!

I hope that you have had a better week!

It’s been an up and down time for the past two weeks. The thing is that he has to start meeting people because he is starting school in September. It’s a nightmare all these germs!

      Thank you. You too πŸ™‚
