Wednesday Night Reading/The Night After The Heatwave

It has still been hot today, but not as hot as previous days, so for that I am grateful. I actually managed to get out for a walk earlier this morning.

This evening has also been cooler with a nice air flow through the open window, plus I had a decent amount of reading time. I spent it furiously trying to make decent headway on my Blog Tour book, Daisy and the Dazzling Dachshunds by Janey Clarke (Blog Tour on 26 July), and trying to make a dent in my library book Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe by Melissa De La Cruz.

There is a lot of detail in Daisy and the Dazzling Dachshunds and just when you wonder where it is going something exciting happens. In just a couple of chapters a cottage was blown up and the group of characters were almost veered off the road and over a cliff to certain death!

Pride and Prejudice and Mistletoe is more sedate with relationship questions and social mishaps.

Overall an enjoyable evening and I feel like I have accomplished something.

I hope that you have had a good Wednesday. Tomorrow I am on the Blog Tour for the wonderful book, Last Time We Met by Emily Houghton, plus I have part 2 of my Moon landing post and Time Travel Thursday.
