Welcome to my Friday Musings Post! This is where every week I will scour the Blogosphere and find past meme questions and incorporate them into a current post (linking back to the blog who set the meme).
This week I have chosen:
Top Ten Tuesday hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl

On 18 January 2011 the prompt was Inspirational Characters. Here are a few of mine:

Freya Butterly from You Had Me At Halloumi by Ginger Jones (click for my review)
She had a tough childhood and it was enjoyable to follow her on her culinary adventure.

Serena Mills from Welcome To Your Life by Bethany Rutter (click for my review)
I enjoyed watching the main character grow in confidence. She went against her family in order to fulfil her own happiness.

Audrey from The Kitchen Front by Jennifer Ryan (click for my review)
She worked really hard in order to keep a roof over her children’s heads and food on the table.

Etta from A Moment on the Lips by J Taylor (click for my review)
She focused on what she wanted and made new friends along the way.

Nanee from The Postmistress of Paris by Meg Waite Clayton (click for my review)
She risked her life to save others during the War.

I recognize a few of these characters, some good choices, Emily Jane.

Thank you 😊 it can be quite hard as there are so many characters that inspire in different ways 🙂

Nice picks, Emily. I just finished Killers of a Certain Age, and those women in that book are really inspirational.
