Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week it is Completed Series I Wish Had More Books. This is a tough one as I haven’t read many series recently so I will have to look into my past reads. I will also need to add some books that I wish were series!
Series that I would like there to be more books in:
Book Review – Dial A For Aunties by Jesse Sutanto
Book Review – It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
Book Review – Dead Soil by Alex Apostol
Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone by J K Rowling
Books that I wish were a series:
Book Review – Finding Mr Perfectly Fine by Tasneem Abdur-Rashid
The ending was rather open ended so I would like to see what happens next.
Book Review – You Had Me At Halloumi by Ginger Jones
I loved the characters, but maybe a different set of characters and a different country.
Book Review – The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas
I loved the way that the story was written so maybe a similar sort of storyline with different characters.
Book Review – The Silent Companions by Laura Purcell
This ending was a cliffhanger so I would like to get closure plus a new story with more Silent Companions.
Book Review – The Wildest Hunt by Jo Zebedee
This story had so many elements that I enjoyed. I think that there could be more stories written that elaborated on them.
What books would be on your list?
Happy TTT!

The Silent Companions has been hanging around waiting to be read for a while… maybe more of a Winter read by a cosy fire!
These are the series that I wish we could get more of!

It’s a great book. Dark so maybe a Halloween read 😂

What else would you want to see in the Harry Potter series? 🙂

I know it might seem boring but the bit in-between school and having kids 😂 I grew up with Harry Potter and it would be nice to see what happened to them 😂

I’ve seen many of these covers, but I haven’t read any of the books. Glad you enjoyed them.
Thanks for reading my Top Ten Tuesday list!

I’ve found that with other people’s lists. There are so many series out there with covers that I recognise!
Thank you.
That’s ok. Same 🙂

I still need to read The Spanish Love Deception but it’s so well-loved that I can’t wait to finally meet these characters—especially the male lead! 😂

Harry Potter is the first series that came to my mind for this prompt. I love the world Rowling created and would gladly read more books set there. I’m not a big fan of the screenplays—I want novels and big ones! Ha ha.
Happy TTT!

I do too. I was disappointed that the screenplays aren’t in novel form. I haven’t read the latest one, but I’ve read The Cursed Child.
Happy TTT!

A few years ago I probably would have said I wanted more Harry Potter, but as I’ve kind of gone off JK Rowling due to her personal views, I probably wouldn’t read anything else by her now.

I loved the Harry Potter series and grew up with the films. I never wanted it to end!
You Had Me At Halloumi was a great book. And a completely random choice when I saw it on the library shelf!

Great list. I almost added The Bellinger Sisters series to my list! And, I completely agree with you for the Spanish Love Deception, especially since Lina’s Cousin’s book is releasing next month (I think) and I already want more 🙂

What a neat list. Except Twilight and Harry Potter, these books are new to me. Isn’t fun to imagine what you could do with someone else’s characters?
Thanks for sharing and for visiting my blog today.

I would definitely love more books set in the It Happened One Summer world! I also want a second book to follow up after Tessa Bailey’s My Killer Vacation which I read and loved recently. And after reading Harry Potter and The Cursed Child a while back I could definitely see more Harry Potter books. I’ve been wanting to read The Silent Companions, maybe sometime this fall.

Yes! I love the seaside village with the link to LA. I need to read that one, and her other books!
I wish that The Cursed Child was a proper novel.
It is excellent. Definitely a darker evening read!

I still need to read the Aunties books! I wouldn’t mind more Potter books too, if they continued after HP7 and showed the characters’ continuing lives. I like that you included books you wished were series! Great list.

Thank you. I got a bit stuck as I tend to read standalones!

The only book from your list that I’ve read is the very first one in the Harry Potter series. But we all need different books, right?

Yes. I have even read the Second Life of Bree Tanner! It doesn’t take much! I loved Midnight Sun too. I wasn’t sure if I would as it was so long ago that I read the Twilight series, but I needn’t have worried!
