Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week it is Books I Loved So Much I Had to Get a Copy for My Personal Library. I have never done this. Once I have read a story I don’t see the point in buying it again in another format. I don’t have a lot of space and so I will borrow library books and buy Kindle books in order to read the story, but save space. This being the case I will highlight library books and Kindle books that I would hypothetically get for my bookshelves.

Kindle Book
The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare – I loved this series and the covers are great!

Kindle Book
The Infernal Devices series by Cassandra Clare – I loved the series and again the covers are great!

Borrowed A Court of Thorns and Roses, the rest of the series are Library Books
(Book Review) – A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J Maas – Loved the stories. I would have to get the USA cover design though as the UK one isn’t as pretty.

Library Book
(Book Review) – Dial A For Aunties by Jesse Sutanto – loved this and the second one (Book Review) β Four Aunties And A Wedding by Jesse Sutanto and recommend them a lot!

Library Book
(Book Review) – The House in the Cerulean Sea by T J Klune – I loved this story and recommend it to people. I also love the cover.

Library Book
(Book Review) β The Silent Companions by LauraΒ Purcell – This was a great book for Halloween. I love the cover, but would have to keep it hidden so that I didn’t have to keep looking at it!!

Library Book
(Book Review) β The Little Cafe in Copenhagen by JulieΒ Caplin – loved this story and the cover is cute!

Library Book
(Book Review) β You Had Me At Halloumi by GingerΒ Jones – loved the story and the cover is so summery!

Library Book
(Book Review) β Christmas at the Comfort Food Cafe by DebbieΒ Johnson – Loved the story and the cover is very christmassy!

Library Book
(Book Review) β The Lost Apothecary by SarahΒ Penner – a great story and I love the bright, bold cover. One of my favourite covers!
What books would be on your list?

I do the same thing with library books and ebooks. It saves a lot of space.

I bought the physical copies of the ACOTAR books when I first read them, so I already had them in my collection.

I read the first one physically and the rest were ebook library books. It was just luck that I saw the first one and bought it for my friend for her birthday. She then lent it back to me and I enjoyed it. I then left it and suddenly saw how popular the rest of the series was so have it a go and loved it!!

The Auntie books just make me smile each time I see the cover or title. Someday I’ll give them a chance. π Thanks so much for visiting Finding Wonderland.

Cassandra Clare is one of my favorite authors. I love her books so much! π I often check out books from the library or buy them on ebook too so I can read them. If I love the book enough, I’ll buy a physical copy for my shelves. π

Yes! They are so good. I have 105 books on my shelves that I haven’t read. I don’t want to keep adding, but at the same time so many great new books keep coming out!!!

Great list and I agree with your picks. I’m a collector and I love buying physical copies of my favorite books. Hopefully for my finances, I buy a lot second-hand.

All of Cassie Clare’s books make great bookshelf additions, but they sure do also take up a lot of shelf space haha! Great list–I hope you get these one day.

I love your twist on this topic. I don’t keep physical books either, so I just chose a different topic. I should have done your “hypothetically” topic! So smart.

I actually just bought myself Dial A for Aunties. It sounds like such a fun book. I also agree, the US edition is much prettier.

My issue is also space and money. Kindle books are much cheaper than paperbacks.

I had to twist my topic, as well, just for a different reason. When I had a good library, I would read most books from there but here, I have to buy my books and I don’t seem to be able to get rid of them, weird, isn’t it?
Thanks for visiting my TTT this week.

I know what you mean though. I am quite happy giving back a library book, but I am a proper hoarder of my own!
That’s ok π

I own all of Cassandra Clare’s books in the Shadowhunters universe. They take up A LOT of space, so you’re smart to have them on Kindle. π I’m hoping to finally read The House in the Cerulean Sea this month. Fingers crossed!

Wow! I am sure they do! They are great books though. Yes, they were one of the first set of books that I bought and collected on my Amazon Kindle.
