What else has been happening this week:

This week has been a week of TV coverage of the late Queen. I have managed to watch a few bits as it is quite a moment in history. The rest of the week has been taking my son to school – this week has been 8:35am to 1pm with one full day. Next week he will be full time. This weekend my partner and son have been shopping, to the park and a walk ending with a cream tea. Unfortunately my son has brought home germs from school and whilst he has recovered, I have not, so have stayed at home reading and watching Netflix. I have now seen Persuasion which I had been meaning to watch for a while. I know that not everyone enjoyed it, but I absolutely loved it.

Pictures of London from last week – NOTE – I didn’t get a picture of the outside of the pods as there were people in them and I couldn’t get the angle of ours (I also didn’t think that my family would be too impressd if I posted pictures of the inside of the pod with them in either!)! There are some good pictures of the pods on the restaurant’s website – COPPA BAR LONDON.

I have heard Sulari Gentil speak a few times. Last week she was at Melbourne Writers Frestival and after hearing her talk about The Woman in the Library I am definitely going to have to read it!

Did you enjoy it? The covers are so different aren’t they?! American Royals is a great chick lit/romance, I struggled to put it down! Yes! London is an hour’s (expensive) train ride away from me, but the Autumn is great here in the Kent countryside 🙂

I love your London pictures!! Looks like you had a wonderful time. I like how they are slowly getting your son and his friends ready for school. Seems like my kids just started on a full day on day one!

I will keep an eye out for your blog tour for The Woman in the Library. That was a BRILLIANT book for sure!

I’ve also tried to watch as much as I can regarding the Queen’s passing this week and I really hope I can juggle my day so that I can watch the funeral tomorrow.

Thanks for the visit earlier and I hope you will have a wonderful week!

It’s strange to think that it is a world wide thing.

That’s ok. I just wish that I got better ones!

It is good isn’t it. It was in a style that I haven’t read before and I always get excited by new things that work!

For a birthday present (my birthday is in May. I had my 30th bday in 2020 when we were locked down so this was a 30th bday present 2 years later!) I went to London and had lunch in a pod with a view of the Themes – The Coppa Bar.

Thank you. It’s all the germs that my son is starting to pick up from starting school.
