What else has been happening this week:
On Monday we had a Bank Holiday for the late Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral. We had the TV on most of the day so that we could follow what was going on. My son wasn’t overly amused so it was hard to hear everything! The rest of the week my son went to school full time(!!). He has now ended the week with a cold, so we will be having a quiet weekend.
How has your week been?

The Agathas looks like a book I’d want. I am gearing up for “hurricane reading” as I will be stuck inside a bit.

Thank you. We have done well as he has been at school for 3 weeks and this is only the second cold…it seems to be worse than the first but hopefully he will be well enough to go tomorrow

The Invisible Library by Genevieve Cogman sounds like my sort of story. I can’t resist anything with libraries in it.
I’m sorry your son is sick. When I worked in the schools, I always got sick a few weeks into the school year.

It was the main draw for me I have to admit!!
I think that we have been lucky to only have had 2 colds in the last 3 weeks 🤣 this one has affected him more but hopefully he will be ok to go in tomorrow

It’s good so far. A bit confusing but I’m sure that I will sort out what’s going on. I think I am overthinking it 😂

We watched the royal funeral too, and were amazed at the elaborate ceremony. It was very interesting to watch.

Yes! There was so much too it. Definitely a part of history that I am glad to have seen.
