Welcome to my Stacking The Shelves post hosted by Reading Reality. A quiet one this week with only one book. This book is one that my son chose from his school library. As you know he is only 4 so I can only assume that the teacher just let him take the first book he picked up!
How Children Lived by Christopher Rice (click for link to Goodreads)

Book Description From Goodreads:
“Ever wonder about how children lived in the past? This amazing book places sixteen children in different times and places.”

That looks like a very interesting read! I always loved stuff like that as a kid. π

Even at 4, he can enjoy the pics and it gives you the opportunity to talk about “other kids” and how life was different. Quiet weeks are good sometimes!
Hope you find time to read a good book this week.

Very true π it just made me laugh that the teacher allowed him to take it when they have only been allowed picture books so far!
They are. Need to recharge the batteries sometimes.
Thank you. You too π

Why do i actually want to read that? I’m always curious to see how people lived in different times and places, and children’s books appeal to me for that because I can get bored of heavy history books.
