Monday Night Reading

A fairly decent amount of time was spent reading this evening. For the first time in quite a few weeks (maybe even a month now?!) I have split my evening reading between 3 books. I shall explain myself. I wasn’t going to get a library book until I had finished my Blog Tour book The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop by Cressida McLaughlin, however I saw a couple of Christmas books on Libby and put my name down for them. I wasn’t expecting them to be available for a few weeks – I was planning on Christmas reading in at least late November/December. Apparently though one was so popular (maybe?!) that the library bought more electronic copies of it and I was able to read it!

So today and this evening I have been reading A Bookshop Christmas by Rachel Burton (the Libby electronic book that became available), my Blog Tour book The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop and Fingersmith by Sarah Waters.

Another twist has happened in Fingersmith so whilst it is taking me a while to get through it is keeping my interest and making me want to carry on reading it.

I am enjoying both the Christmas books, but need to be careful that I don’t muddle them up. There are quite a few characters so I need to compartmentalise them in my mind! I am sure that I will be fine though…

I hope that you had a good Monday. Tomorrow on the Blog it’s Top Ten Tuesday plus I am on the Tour for The Will by Rebecca Reid!

See you then!
