What else has been happening this week:

Monday was quiet, Tuesday I went with my parents to a local (ish) Shopping Centre where we do our annual Christmas Shopping Trip, Wednesday was quiet, Thursday my son was sent home unwell, Friday he was back at school (thank goodness!) and I went in (with other parents) to do some reading with him. Saturday we braved going into Town to buy my partner some new shoes. He ended up with 2 pairs for under £30 so that was well worth the trip! Today we are off to my parents late afternoon for a Sunday roast (I think or some other meal!).

How has your week been?

We start our Christmas shopping in the January sales then start October/November – too exciting not too!!!! Exactly! Chill time – ish – decorations to go up next weekend so that we can ‘welcome the elves’ on 1 December.

      Thank you. You too 🙂

It sounds like a lovely week. You are way, way ahead of us with your Christmas shopping. I tend to wait until the last minute.

I like the idea behind The Cornish Cream Tea Bookshop. I’d love to go to that place and a story set there would be delightful.

I get too stressed about it to leave it. Plus the spreadsheets need to look good… I also have to admit that Christmas Shopping is the only shopping I enjoy.

Same. It sounds great. I have been to Cornwall a couple of times.

      Have a great week!

I LOVED hearing about your week. Mine was good, ending with a weekend filled with company and fun. However, I did not get my grading done and face a Grading Marathon soon. Tomorrow, on my birthday, the 21st I have a cat scan of my lungs scheduled. Then in a week or two I visit my pulmonologist to get the results. This is always an apprehensive time.
I hope this coming week brings you only good things and some blessings as well.

Thank you. That’s the best ending to a week. A Grading Marathon sounds less fun.

Oh no! What a thing to do on your birthday! I completely understand that it is an apprehensive time to say the least! The results are often more nerve wracking than the actual thing itself!

Same to you and I hope everything goes well and you have a good rest of your birthday ❤

I’m glad your son wasn’t sick for too long.

I’ve got a bit of a start on Christmas shopping but that just means I feel like I have more done than I actually do and I’ll be scrambling at the last minute–as usual.

The Cornish Cream Tea books sound delightful.

    Enjoy your week!

Same I was a bit worried about it.

I get too stressed to leave it. I like my spreadsheet to be completed!

It is a good book so far – I have nearly finished it!

      Thank you. You too 🙂
