What else has been happening this week:
My son has been well all week! Finally it has happened! Monday I was at home, Tuesday I went Christmas shopping with my mum to the local town, Wednesday was quiet at home, Thursday I went Christmas shopping with my partner’s mum and Friday I went into school in the morning to read with my son and then in the afternoon I went back in early to see some of his work that he had been doing on London. This weekend we are baking some Christmas cupcakes (and making our Christmas wishes!) and getting the Christmas decorations up as it is the last weekend before the Elves arrive on 1 December!

I’m so glad your son was well all week, Emily! That’s huge. And you’ve gotten to do so many fun things to prep for Christmas. Nice.
A Bookshop Christmas sounds like a perfect book for this time of the year. I’ve never really read a holiday book, but I’m thinking I might read one this year.

Oh I love a holiday book, but in my opinion they need different star ratings. A 5 star holiday book is not as good as a 5 star non holiday one. Holiday ones are good for the atmosphere rather than the substance. It might just be the ones I am picking though!
