Sunday Post

Welcome to my Sunday post hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. A very quiet week this week as I’ve tried to have a chilled week! We had a load of snow last week, which for this part of the UK is rare. It has been a nightmare slipping to and from school – the school was even closed for a couple of days. We just aren’t prepared for this sort of weather.

Anyway, here are this week’s posts:

Ergh, it has been a nightmare. I am scared to go out – it is thick ice! It was only one night but it was heavy and went on for hours! The paths just haven’t cleared and only the main roads are gritted. I am out in the countryside so we have to be careful which roads are considered main enough to be gritted – there is apparently a website with roads that have been gritted…

It is just terrifying to go out. I was slipping along to school with my son – luckily I didn’t go over but my son did – he has never really been in the snow (apart from a tiny time a couple of years ago and he couldn’t wait to get back in the house) so it was a bit new for him.

      Thank you. You too 🙂
