Welcome to my Sunday post hosted by Caffeinated Reviewer. A very quiet week this week as I’ve tried to have a chilled week! We had a load of snow last week, which for this part of the UK is rare. It has been a nightmare slipping to and from school – the school was even closed for a couple of days. We just aren’t prepared for this sort of weather.
Anyway, here are this week’s posts:
Sunday Salon (last week)
Top Ten Tuesday – Books on My Winter 2022-2023 To-Read List
WWW Wednesday – Currently Reading, Finished Reading, Reading Next
Goodreads Top 5 Wednesday – Books To Gift
Random Things Tours – Book Review – When The Lights Go Out by Chris Curran
Friday 56 – Emily Wilde’s Encyclopaedia of Faeries by Heather Fawcett
Book Blogger Hop – Which time of day do you prefer to read: morning, afternoon, or evening?
Book Review – Christmas At Carringtons by Alexandra Brown
I hope that you have all had a good week!

Sorry to hear you got hit with snow too! We got a fairly medium sized storm but lots of people have been sliding off the road and getting into accidents even 2-3 days later.

Ergh, it has been a nightmare. I am scared to go out – it is thick ice! It was only one night but it was heavy and went on for hours! The paths just haven’t cleared and only the main roads are gritted. I am out in the countryside so we have to be careful which roads are considered main enough to be gritted – there is apparently a website with roads that have been gritted…

Snow! It’s fun, pretty and a pain.

I’m sorry about the snow. When I lived in New York, it was horrible having to drive to work in it. What a mess! I hope you are doing well and have a great week!

It is just terrifying to go out. I was slipping along to school with my son – luckily I didn’t go over but my son did – he has never really been in the snow (apart from a tiny time a couple of years ago and he couldn’t wait to get back in the house) so it was a bit new for him.
Thank you. You too 🙂

We got a bunch of snow too and while it feels Christmasy the roads were slick!
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
