5 Star Autumn Reads Part 1 (September to October)

Every season I like to look back and revisit my 5 star reads. As well as trying to read different genres, I also like to try and match my reading to the season as far as possible.

One Word Reviews For Books I Read In October

Welcome to my one word review post! This was inspired by a Top Ten Tuesday post that I took part in earlier in May. Not everyone has the time to read through a whole review, so I think that these one word reviews are an excellent way to get a book across to people in one word.

How quickly did October go?! I still have so much that I wanted to read! Still, I did manage to get quite a few books read as they were Halloweenish short stories. I had quite a successful month with a fair amount of 5 star reads. I am looking forward to November!

It was a very hard choice this month with Netgalley Book Review – Snowed In For Christmas by Sarah Morgan coming in a close second. There really was nothing in it – they were both excellent books!

The book that I have chosen this week is Dreadfully Ever After by Steve Hockensmith (click for link to Goodreads).

This has been on my shelf for a very long time. I read Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and never got on to this one. It would make a good Halloween book – maybe next year!
