Do you like writing short or long reviews? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
I used to write short, brief reviews because everyone seemed to be writing long reviews and I wanted to just give a flavour of the book that I had read. I am also of the belief that time is precious and not everyone has the time to read through a long review.
When I started taking part in Blog Tours however, I felt that I had to make a more thorough review because they were being shared with publishers and I would be compared directly to other people. It was also at this time that I came up with the basic template for my reviews and I like to aim to write just under an A4 page. Some reviews end up longer than others, but never more than an A4 page. A short review for me would probably be just over half a page.
