Will society suffer in the future as a result of the younger generations’ lack of reading?
Wow that is a deep question. I think it could go either way. There are a lot of fake bits of information out there and if everyone believes what they read then that could be a problem. On the other hand, reading allows an escape and also allows you to expand your vocabulary and cultural knowledge and understanding.
My son’s school heavily promotes reading so we are very lucky.
