Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week’s prompt is Book Titles That Would Make Great Newspaper Headlines (Submitted by Cathy @ What Cathy Read Next). This was harder than it sounded, with me trying to imagine the sort of story that would follow the title in real life (so not necessarily what actually happened in the book), but here is my list (click the title for my book review):
The Kiss Curse by Erin Sterling
Murder For Christmas by Francis Duncan
The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
Blackmail in Bloomsbury by Anna Sayburn Lane
Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers by Jesse Sutanto
Murder Under The Tuscan Sun by Rachel Rhys
The Christie Affair by Nina De Gramont
The Postmistress of Paris by Meg Waite Clayton
A Death In Custody by T S Clayton
What book titles would be on your list?

That’s the second time today I’ve seen the unsolicited advice for murderers one, and it’s really grabbing my attention! I’m going to have to look it up; it’s a great choice for a headline, either way!
Here’s my TTT!

It is a great book! Not quite as good as Dial A for Aunties (another book by Jesse Sutanto), but still an amusing read.

I was thinking about Vera Wong for this week’s list as well! I can see it being kind of like a cheeky column in the news maybe 😂 These are all great picks!

A Death in Custody would be a very attention-grabbing headline.

Most thriller stories seem like they’d make great true crime story headlines. The Family Upstairs is one such title, and I’ve heard good things about the author, too.

They do 😁. Yes it was my first Lisa Jewell. I would certainly read more of her stuff.

These are all such great titles for newspaper articles! I’d totally be curious about all of these titles, especially Vera Wong’s Unsolicited Advice for Murderers.

Murder for Christmas would be a sad headline to see! Yikes. The Kiss Curse could lead to a SUPER interesting story. LOL.
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

It would be sad 😂
I was thinking one of those reality shows – specifically Strictly Come Dancing 😂
