I wonder how many of these will make it into your end of year favourites list?

The best book I’ve read so far this year is A Better Place by Stephen Daisley, one of the books on the longlist for The Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction. But don’t go looking for my review because I haven’t got around to writing it yet!

I love listing books I’ve enjoyed at any point in the year! I haven’t read any of yours, but I feel like I keep seeing Emily Wilde’s Map of the Otherlands everywhere, and I’m intrigued! I hope your reading continues to be as rewarding!

Oh yes! I’ve read that one. I didn’t understand the UK title – Holmes, Margaret and Poe 🤷🏻‍♀️ but otherwise I hope there is more to come with those characters!

So far I’ve been quite lucky to have found some really great books! Hopefully it continues!!

Great list, as always, Emily! I love this topic idea, and may just have to borrow this one in the future. I definitely have to agree with you on Emily Wilde and Hex and the City – both of those were highlights for me this year as well!
