FIRST LINE:

“There’s an old joke they tell backstage sometimes: the circus has come to town, and everyone lines the streets to watch the parade.”

It then goes on for quite a bit. This is the Prologue before the story starts. I haven’t read much past this bit, but I am looking forward to what is coming up!
