💭THOUGHTS💭
I wanted to read an Easter book to my 8 month old son that would introduce him to this celebration. This seemed the perfect fit.
The writing was simple and managed to cover all the main points well. The text was in different places on each page and had little statements by the pictures in addition to the main text. This added extra interest. It was made clear by the size of the font which was the main text. The main font was also horizontal and either at the top or bottom of the page, whereas the statements were curved and placed randomly on the page.
The font used was clear and black, but on different coloured backgrounds, some of which were lightly patterned.
The pictures were a mix of illustrations and photographs which was interesting. The illustrations were bold and lightly detailed so could cater for a wide age range. The photos made it feel more relatable.
