If you receive a request from an author to read his/her book and you don’t have time, do you suggest another way to help the author? (submitted by Elizabeth @ Silver’s Reviews)
If I don’t have the time right there and then, I say when I will have the time. I then leave the ball in their court as to whether they still want me to read and review it. I will do my best to keep them updated so that they can always ask someone else if need be.

That is pretty much what I do too. I will give them an estimate of when I would be able to read and review the book. They are usually always good with that. Have a great weekend!

I have a couple authors that email me but always say there’s no rush for the review, which is nice. But when some people reach out and ask if I can read the book in a short deadline I usually turn them down.

Yeah it takes the pressure off. I always let them know roughly when I can get it done by so that I’m not too stressed.

I have become such a NetGalley requester, that I just don’t have time or blog space for author requests anymore. I don’t like to post too many blog posts in one day, and I’m always behind in my NetGalley books.

I have just done the one. I enjoy the blog tours that I do because sometimes I get physical books. I post quite a lot… I know what you mean though with not having the time!
