Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week it is Typographic Book Covers (Book covers with a design that is all or mostly all words. You can also choose to do books with nice typography if that’s easier!) (Submitted by Mareli @ Elza Reads).
I found this quite hard as most of the books that I have read have a dominant picture, however I thought that these ones fitted the bill (fairly well!):

Book Review – Someone in Time by Jonathan Strahan – SCI FI/ROMANCE

Random Things Tours – Book Review – Double or Nothing by Kim Sherwood – MYSTERY/CRIME/THRILLER

Book Review – The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton – MYSTERY/SCI FI

Book Review – Paris For One and Other Stories by Jojo Moyes – ROMANCE/SHORT STORIES

Random Things Tours – Book Review – Do No Harm by Jack Jordan – THRILLER/CRIME

Random Things Blog Tour – Book Review – Behind The Olive Trees by Francesca Catlow – CONTEMPORARY FICTION

Book Review – The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman – COSY MYSTERY

Book Review – The Man Who Died Twice by Richard Osman – COZY MYSTERY

Random Things Tour Blog Tour – Book Review – Kill Me Goodbye by A K Reynolds – THRILLER

Book Review – Chill Out and Cheer Up by Grace Grossmann – SELF HELP

Great list and picks of typographic covers. You did a great job with your picks despite not having too many options. My favorite is Kill Me Goodbye 😍.

Thank you. I wasn’t sure if some of them were still a bit picture heavy!
Kill Me Goodbye was also a great book ☺️
You too 😊

Hi Emily! These ones are all great choices yes! The Me Before You Trilogy is also a good choice by Jojo Moyes. I also thought of Someone in Time, but didn’t use it.
Thanks for the shoutout!

Thank you. I do need to read more JoJo Moyes but I don’t do anything that could potentially be too emotional 😂
I wasn’t sure that I had read many books with typographical covers so had to use it 😂

Very striking typography on the Do No Harm cover. It looks so simple but the slice through it is attention-getting.

Yes! And the slice also has that shiny texture to it to make it stand out a bit more.

There were a couple of good stories in there, but they were surrounded by some not so good ones (to put it politely!)

Love that first cover – WOW, so colorful and dramatic! I really had fun with this topic – I guess because I was able to browse my Pinterest images for TBR. Thanks for stopping by.

The Osman covers are distinctive and eye-catching. I don’t know if I love them, but they definitely make a statement!
Happy TTT (on a Wednesday)!

I love the stories so don’t mind too much about the cover. I have to say though that for a Christmas present I have got the third book and it has pretty sprayed edges …
Same to you 😊

I would have put the third book in there too, but it’s my Christmas present so technically I don’t own it yet 😂 plus it is cheating a bit!

It does 😁 some of the stories are good, others are not quite so good.

I also had some that had quite a bit of illustration too: my criteria for it was that the words were the main focus of the cover rather than they had to be the only thing there and I feel like yours definitely fit the same kind of mold!

Yes. I don’t think I have a completely words only book. I obviously judge a book by it’s cover!!

Looks like you’ve found some great titles to feature despite thinking it’s be hard to find titles. 🙂 The colors in your first pick are fabulous. Thanks for visiting my website this week! Appreciate that.

Count me as another person who still needs to read the Richard Osman books. They are a great choice for this prompt though.
