Welcome to Top Ten Tuesday! Hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl, this week’s prompt is Atmospheric Books. This is an interesting one as I am sure that we will all have our own take on what is considered atmospheric. I have decided to choose books that create a dark atmosphere.
Library Book Review – The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell
Random Things Tours – Book Review – The Devil Stone by Caro Ramsay
Library Book Review – Hotel Magnifique by Emily J Taylor
Book Review – The Easter Sepulchre by Mel Starr
Pandemic Reading List 2021 – Book Review – Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn
Book Review – Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
Library Book Review – The Christmas Murder Game by Alexandra Benedict
Random Things Tours – Book Review – The Bay by Allie Reynolds
Book Review – The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley
Book Review – The Seven Deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle by Stuart Turton

Sharp Objects has a dark vibe for sure. I can remember how dark that book felt.

I have to admit that I almost gave up on it because it was so dark. I am glad that I persevered though!

I would agree that we all see atmospheric reads a little differently, and that’s part of what makes visiting all the lists fun. 🙂 I’ve seen Lisa Jewell’s books around the book list-sphere and feel like The Paris Apartment was super hyped too! May both be authors I’ll have to read more about. 🙂 Thanks for visiting my website today.

Definitely! I love blog hopping around! I’ve only read one Lisa Jewell and want to read more. I’ve read 3 Lucy Foley books and really enjoyed them 😊. Thank you for visiting back 😊

THE CHRISTMAS MURDER GAME sounds intriguing! I love a murder mystery, but I don’t think I’ve ever read one that takes place at Christmastime. Interesting.
Happy TTT!

Thank you 😊 Evelyn Hardcastle is good. You need to stick with it though. I was starting to wonder when I would find out the answer. I wasn’t disappointed when I did.
