Book Blogger Hop – Do you go back and reread the previous book before starting the sequel?

Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop! Hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer this week the prompt is:

Do you go back and reread the previous book before starting the sequel? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)

I haven’t done before. I tend to read sequels fairly close together and if I don’t I have a pretty good memory as to what has happened. What will happen in the future I can’t say though as I am reading more than one book at a time these days, so the potential to get the muddled is higher.

What about you?

I’ll reread or skim-read a book if its a series where each book depends on the previous book. If it’s a series where each book can be read as a stand-alone then I won’t reread it.

That’s true. If they are going to spend years inbetween each book it’s the least they can do 😂 I haven’t read many series recently so it’s not an immediate issue for me 😊

It mostly depends on how much of the book I remember and how many books there are previously. I like to read a series close together, but sometimes its years and I can’t find a good summary. And sometimes I just like to re-fall in love
