Welcome to the Book Blogger Hop! Hosted by Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer this week the prompt is:
Do you go back and reread the previous book before starting the sequel? (submitted by Billy @ Coffee Addicted Writer)
I haven’t done before. I tend to read sequels fairly close together and if I don’t I have a pretty good memory as to what has happened. What will happen in the future I can’t say though as I am reading more than one book at a time these days, so the potential to get the muddled is higher.
What about you?

If it been awhile since I read a series then I start over from the beginning.

I haven’t so far but who knows what the future will hold. To be fair I don’t read many series these days.

I’ll reread or skim-read a book if its a series where each book depends on the previous book. If it’s a series where each book can be read as a stand-alone then I won’t reread it.

Fair enough. I do like a stand alone in a series. I haven’t read many series recently.

Even if it’s been years between books, which happens sometimes, I don’t reread. I just figure it out as I read the sequel. Most of the time the authors revisit old plots enough to remind me.

That’s true. If they are going to spend years inbetween each book it’s the least they can do 😂 I haven’t read many series recently so it’s not an immediate issue for me 😊

It mostly depends on how much of the book I remember and how many books there are previously. I like to read a series close together, but sometimes its years and I can’t find a good summary. And sometimes I just like to re-fall in love

Fair enough. I haven’t read many series recently for it to be a problem.
